Under normal circumstances, my plans for 7 p.m. on the last Thursday before a fully planned weekend, would include little more than some sweatpants, a face mask and mindless entertainment in the form of “Gossip Girl” or “Pretty Little Liars”. But this Thursday Laurèl, Lauren and Sanne chose this time slot to throw a launch party for their SS16 Tropical Tree collection of Basch Amsterdam.

So I did what any other girl would do: I threw on my black leather jacket, some sneakers and hightailed it to Studio 13 in Amsterdam, where the girls had their event. As soon as I saw the new bags hanging in the studio, I felt like a little kid in a candy store. If I had to name the most essential piece every girl should have in her closet, a simple and uncomplicated bag would be it. But in this particular instance, I believe that leather adds a bit of an edge to an otherwise classic bag. So once I spotted these gorgeous leather bags of Basch Amsterdam, it was love at first sight.

Funny, it used to be all about a the huge carry-all-for-me bags. The bigger, the better. I mean, leaving the house without a cosmetics bag, hair brush, organizer and a bunch of other stuff, unthinkable! But now, after the launch, I find that a smaller purse is much more efficient. At the end of the day, I really don’t need to have all that stuff with me all the time. It’s completely crazy but every bag of Basch Amsterdam looks great with everything of my closet. So definitely check their bags out by CLICKING HERE.
